Zumba & other classes offered at the Center

I love that ASRC has such a variety of offerings of classes, events and exercise. Everyone can choose their type of engagement, whether passively sitting and reading a book, using the centers computers or dancing away in Zumba, etc. Everyone is offered the same opportunity to selectively choose their involvement and daily enjoyment at ASRC.

The facility is very nice, and the staff are attentive and pleasant. Would be nice if there were more activities available in the art/craft arena taught by good teachers - like Sam Johnson at Plano, but the variety offered is a good one.

The staff at Allen Senior Recreation Center and the volunteers is the best experience, first and foremost! They make everyone feel welcome!
All of them work so hard to plan, coordinate and execute all events with great smiles and enthusiasm! Every activity shows their great dedication and passion to make sure it's as much fun for all of us seniors! Thank you, ASRC staff and volunteers!

Some of the groups are very welcoming. I wish they would publish a calendar as they did before the new director stopped that.

I love the Bible study class so very much! The teacher, Ken, is so knowledgeable and I learn so much every week about the Bible. I’m so glad I found this class at the senior center.

Activities, games, exercises

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I love the Silver Sneakers class.

I have been attending ARC since it opened. THere have been changes through the years as personnel change. It is very difficult to get on a lunch trip as there are are so few seats available on the bus and people who attend every day take the spots on the first day registration is open. Would be nice if 2 buses were used to allow more people to attend.

The people are great! Love the activities.

A chance to go somewhere new and the staff is kind, helpful and very patient . I enjoy traveling with the center long or short trips, I don’t worry about driving or parking they take you to the front door !
