The representative from JTM earlier today was very knowledgeable, patient and professional.

The staff and volutneers are amazing! Classes are fun, even exercise classes! Instructors are so personable. It feels welcoming with a closeness of a second family. Also, I think many of us develop a second support system of friends there.

My 2nd year membership. I moved to Allen from Long Beach, CA 12/03/2023. I followed my son and grand kids here.

The facility is very beautiful, clean and welcoming. Very organized.
Employees are always professional, friendly and helpful.
Great variety of classes, activities, games and excursions/trips.

I only wish there was karaoke. I attended the New Year's luncheon. When they asked if there were any singers I raised my hand, but I was near the back (which I thought would be the front) but they didn't see me. Usually, at Karaoke there's a sign in sheet of singers and the song they want.

I attended the Valentine's luncheon. It was nice.
But, last year was much better. Some of us had an issue with only playing mostly Beach Boys and Beatles songs. There should've been more variety like line dance songs and R&B.
Last year we did the Cupid Shuffle and Electric Shuffle. Maybe, the DJ could ask for a list of suggestions. I noticed a lot of people leaving right after eating.

Adding a game and raffle prizes also make it more fun. I'm sure some prizes can be donated.

I especially like the cash Bingo. I also attend the Crafty class with Jack. I've made some cute projects. I prefer a finished project rather than just demonstrating a skill.

I also went on 2 Choctaw Casino trips. The first time I broke even. The second time I lost. It was still fun. I enjoyed the bus ride.

I plan to make use of the gym. I've been eating healthy and lost 45 more lbs. since I joined.
My balance and walking is better.

I'm also interested in Zumba Good and line dancing. Cards and genealogy. Sometimes I babysit so I can't make it to the center.

All in all it's a wonderful place to meet other seniors, socialize and have fun.

As a 25 year resident of Allen, I have appreciated most of the changes in the city. Wow, have we changed for the better. The senior center, skate parks, water park and athletic fields for all ages. Activities that vary from walks in the park to rides to the fair. We love the senior center, I have a wife, so it's a we. We thank the Allen parks and rec personnel for their mental and physical work that brings us pleasure and improves our lives daily. We just need more Chic Filet.
