I got great customer service this week, after calling several times, on hold #68 in line, and the longest wait ever with Quarles / Superior. Even with my frustration, the rep was excellent! I wish I remembered her name, but if you have a record of it, she deserves a raise and/or a day off!
She answered all my questions, helped me understand the gauge and online information better, and got a delivery out to me the next day.
Also, I would say I would recommend Quarles / Superior to many in the NN region. However, I wish for the following to return in order to recommend with more ease:
- No charge for the tank, if using less fuel in a year. There was never a charge / rental on my tank. In fact, when I was with Revere, I paid a charge up front for the tank, to ensure no rental over time. And then Quarles stood by this. I would like this continued.
- Automatic delivery when the "online gauge" is showing 40% since my gauge always shows 10% less than what you show online. This always worries me when we have power outages in the severe cold winters, needing generator use.
- Improve the calling system, so the wait time is much reduced. Or, make it possible to send in a contact / inquiry form that actually gets a response. Mine never do.

I have never had any problems with Superior/Quarles. During this recent cold snap when I tried to call there were 30 calls ahead of me so I hung up. The next day when I called it said 64 people ahead of me. It indicated I could leave a message and be called back. I left a message and did get a call a little later. I was very pleasantly surprised I got called back the same day. I was told it would probably be a week before you could get out which I told you was okay. We just wanted our tank topped off. I indicated to please take care of the people who had an urgent need first. We got our delivery the next day. Thank you.

I disliked purchasing a liquid propane delivery from the Superior site—it was a let-down. So I called the Quarles office in Warsaw. The lady was wonderful. She set up a 200 gal delivery instead of the mandatory 400 gal purchase online. The latter said 7 to 10 days for delivery. The lady said 4 to 5 and the delivery arrived in 2 from a super nice delivery man. The Superior experience was alienating. Going to the Quarles Warsaw office from now on!
