Everything
Clean facility; lot’s of ‘workout’ machines & ‘Top Shelf’, pleasant people!!!
I like the amount of opportunities for exercise for seniors.
I have been using the facilities of the Longmont YMCA since I left the hospital almost
4 years ago. It's not just the facilities but the staff as well as the social interactions
I have had with others who find value in keeping themselves physically healthy that
has made the 'Y' a valuable resource not just for me but for others.
The 'Y' is interconnected to other community functions drawing people in from many
ways of life in the search for wellness, new interests, or making new friends.
The 'Y' has the best ways, I have found, for making it a win-win experience to build a very healthy, personal, fun loving & growth oriented life in the Longmont community.
Thank you, Lucy, Jennifer, Jeremy, Tammy, Javier & others who really listen to what
I am asking for.

I love the Silver Sneakers mixed cardio classes. It's not only a place to get and stay fit, but also a gathering place for friends I have met.
Meeting friends , exercising and great staff!
I am so pleased with these lessons. The teacher is clearly skilled and excellent with children, the ratio is ideal and both my kiddos are reporting excitement to return!

The Y has good equipment and friendly staff. It is not nearly as crowded and the municipal rec centers. They have adjusted the open and close schedules to suit the majoriy of the members.
Every class taught by khris!
the instructors are fantastic. the facility is clean. class choices are good. Longs Peak Room is waaaaay too cold--needs a strong portable heater during the winter months, please.you can get one for $400 at Ace Hardware. Well worth it.

Thank you!
I can be in my favorite teacher’s class.
The Longmont Y admin staff is friendly, saying hello nearly every morning which warms my heart. The facilities are clean; the fitness equipment is maintained in good working order (very important). I love the natural light coming into the building to offset the ceiling lights; I enjoy the multi-generational atmosphere with kid programs (and kids fun-screaming - so vibrant and full of life!). Most of all I love the instructors' commitment and energy to their classes - I am most familiar with Meg's cycle classes - she has taken class participation to the next level with community outreach - fostering a Thursday morning group walk outdoors. Meg epitomizes connectedness; generosity of spirit; a beacon of light and hope for us. I believe that Khris is a warrior goddess with her energy, joy, and focus - evidenced by the consistently large number of participants who attend her classes. Although I haven't attended Group Water Fitness classes, I see that the participants have become connected through their regular attendance, similar to the participants in the cycle classes. A common theme. The Longmont Y has become an oasis of friendship - bolstered by the generous offering of OXO coffee, tables and chairs in the lobby, where we can all share stories, laugh, and become a community of fitness-minded folks.

Group exercises early in the morning.
Easy yoga with Laura and Khris's Strength & Strech classes.
