Exercising with friends
I like that it's 3/4 of a mile away from my house and that my insurance company pays for it. I do like the variety of machines that you have and seem to have enough of them.I like that I can get on and just peddle the bicycle when I had fractured my foot I could still get some exercise.
I like that the people that generally go to the YMCA are pretty well-behaved it isn't a bunch of teenagers messing around like the rec center.
However I'm still awaiting to do my quickstart thing. I signed up in October and still had that tour and guidance and how to use the machine thing yet.

I'm not very self directed when it comes to exercise. Thus, I love all the class possibilities offeed.

The staff is friendly. The silver sneaker teachers are outstanding. Each of them show care and consideration for the participants and provde a great workout. This is probably the most significant reason I go to the Longmont YMCA. The facility itself is comfortable and clean. They do a great job with the facilities that they have to work with. The Longmont YMCA feels like community. It is diverse. People that go there like each other. I've developed friendships with various people. I enjoy going there,
Not too crowded, responsiveness to suggestions, clean,
I enjoy the Circle Class on Mondays. Go home after the class knowing I have had a good work out!

I love the fact that the Longmont YMCA honors and respects everyone, that the staff are fabulous, that it is a relaxed and wonderful environment to work out and talk to others.

I do wish there was a Y policy that allows you to bring one person along with you for free. Planet Fitness allows that. I bring a client in once a week for an hour and he cannot afford the Y, so I use my free passes. But those run out.
Maybe a policy that allows one friend once a week for one-ish hour. Free with a member.
Besides that, I appreciate the Y and its programs.
I love that they keep the pool warm.
