The equipment is up to date. The place is clean. The workers are nice. Everything you need.
The staff members at Ric Nuber YMCA are always helpful and friendly. Ample parking is available in front of the building and I always feel safe entering and leaving this location. I typically use the treadmills and find the equipment clean, in good repair and almost always available. The yoga classes I've taken here were very good. Finally, this Y location has a pool that operates as an outdoor pool in the summer but converts to an indoor pool in the winter. Pretty nice. :-)
Friendliness.
I have had a great experience with the Y. I am a 68 year old retired teacher and registered using Slender and Fit. Wonderful, so far. However, I am a sporadic basketball player and would like to have access to a gym at this particular facility. Otherwise, everything is fine.

I love the family atmosphere!
My kids love it here. They are greeted with joy. Y Play is fun. And we never leave without a lollipop. I can get a great pool workout in while I know the kids are having a good time.

I really enjoy the Older Active / Healthy Adult classes led by Lesley.

Ms. Mattie's water aerobics class is the best in the city. She's meaner than a Army Drill Seargent, but she is the best and she'll push you to be your best. The front of the building workers are really friendly. I was disappointed when the heater for the water was out for a while and the hot water wasn't working in the showers. Other than that I love coming to Nuber's YMCA.
We have a great time at the pool. My youngest would like a slide around the splash pad area. My oldest would like a diving board .
