Staff here is amazing, everyone is super kind and encouraging. Haven’t had a bad interaction yet, I live next door and they treat us like family. From Mr Charles to the plant guy(sorry I didn’t remember his name) they all have super positive vibes and I enjoy coming to work out here.

Saunas, great staff, cost effective
I love the facility! Very clean, peaceful & up to date. My favorite part of the Downtown facility are the staff members. They really make me feel like family and you don’t find that in most facilities. From the moment I began my journey with the YMCA, I’ve never looked back. My comfort level here is top tier and I owe it to the home like atmosphere. Again, the facility and STAFF have made this experience one of a kind!

From the front desk staff, management and instructors, my experience at Folgelman has been great! I feel motivated and happy to open the door AND I get a great workout. It's also nice to walk into a gorgeous, downtown Memphis building. Thanks y'all!
Clean, friendly, quiet,
My only complaint is the hours. I can’t go to multiple gyms, but I wish the downtown YMCA was open later on the weekends, and on Sundays.
It’s difficult yo make my workout schedule effective when I basically can’t go on Sat/Sunday bc I can only work out in the evenings.
I love the Fogelman YMCA! It’s safe, clean, and friendly. I never wait for machines and all the members are kind and courteous. I’ve never been harassed by men after 6 months of going every week. This is rare in the gym space and keeps me coming back.
Please extend week end hours until 16.00-17.00
