The facility is nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. I go to this Y for chair yoga, and it is the only Y that has it.

The Parkview YMCA by far has the best childcare. They greet the children by name when they arrive and they seem to enjoy their job.
I have been walking at the Y in Ft Wayne on DuPont Road since moving back to the area 2 years ago. This past December I decided to join a few water aerobic classes and enhanced fitness classes due to falls I’ve had. My instructor for these classes, Aleasa Scott has given me the confidence and instruction to improve my strength, helped with toning my body and improving my overall health. I am so grateful!

Variety of ways to be healthy
The staff at the Parkview Y are great. The atmosphere is wonderful for so many reasons. There have been two issues lately though, I wish were addressed...(1) there are children and teens in the adult locker rooms. This happens daily and is very frustrating, especially when they are on their phones. I wish it was monitored more. (2) there are children without blue or orange bands in the wellness center, taking up machines. The other day, a child who said they were 6 was on a treadmill and clearly did not know how to use it. The same day, another child without a band was using a weight machine and broke it because their were not using it correctly. Other than these minor issues, everything is going well at this Y. Thank you.
