Many and useful amenities: eGym machines that make strength training safe and effective, beautiful pools with easy-to-view schedules so I know when I can get a lane to swim laps, enormous tile whirlpool to reward myself after a long swim, elevated track with views inside and out of the facility to keep my run interesting, mirrored dance and aerobic studios to check my form; the list goes on! Helpful and knowledgeable staff who oriented me to eGym and who give me tips on safe use of the equipment, who answer all my questions about scheduling, guests, and other facilities in greater Fort Wayne promptly and with a smile. A great variety of classes, including yoga offered with accommodations for age and ability level. Even within a given individual class, the instructor gives us options for accommodations. Finally, community outreach and social events. This is something I wish I engaged with more (I work a lot and volunteer outside the Y), but I am always aware of how much the YMCA does to serve our community and bring people together. It truly is a place for everyone.

The employees are incredible! The E machines are super helpful. The coin collecting Pac-Man game is extremely motivating. I'm very excited about this program.

Emily is a fantastic instructor for all of her classes. She is better than any Peloton instructor. She cares about everyone in class and is incredibly helpful and motivates the entire class!!
