I wish the Y had a spin class for people who work. 6-6:45am MWF. I know 4 people that would join the class now.

The Jackson Lehman Y is beautiful; not too big that you get lost, just the right size.
I like swimming laps occasionally. I wish it was closer to New Haven, but it's drivable. There used to be more magazines to read in the lounge The pool cues are broken or no tips. Is pickelball still played. Why isn't tgere a whirlpool like the Parkview ?

It’s the best part of my day, I’m retired and want to continue to move, I like how everyone at the ymca smiles and says hello, the staff is the very best employees I’ve ever witnessed
1) Staff - including volunteers - is always knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile for members.
2) Members feel like family and it's common to see members helping other members.
3) All age groups are guaranteed appropriate activities for fellowship as well as physical exercise.
4) Special activities like LiveStrong are open to members and non-members alike providing solid information and and inclusivity to cancer survivors - a group that benefits from the resources provided.
5) Fees are generally affordable to those on fixed incomes and there is aid available to those who cannot afford full costs. I'm pleased to be a donor when it's fundraising time.

I like that the group classes are included in the membership. I like that there is a pool with a warm area and a kid area that's open most of the time- my kids love it!

The Jackson Lehman Y atmosphere is bright, inviting and cheerful. The staff enjoys working with people and with each other and their job as evidenced by the smiles, laughter and the way they help one another. The staff makes a point of greeting people as they enter and exit. The facilities are clean. The Y has greatly helped me physically and emotionally due to its cheerful encouraging atmosphere.
