I primarily use the pool for lap swimming, the pool and deck are kept clean and the staff is friendly. Locker rooms are generally kept clean as well.

Receptionists are friendly and welcoming. We were able to work out in a pleasant environment, staying dry and out of the rain.

I like things to be fast and easy. I can go there during inclement weather and get a quick workout. No fuss, no muss. The only negative thing I could say is about the treadmills. It’s not the Ys fault, but the makers of the treadmills. I can only go an hour non stop. If I could go longer, I’d do 7-8 miles instead of the 5 miles I’m restricted to.

It’s not painted dark like the other YMCA’s! I love the Parkview YMCA BECAUSE IT IS BRIGHT AND CHEERFUL!!!
My introduction to E-Gym by Amy was great. She walked me through the process with patience and humor.
The y has been a great resource to get the family out for a variety of activities and lessons and given me the ability to spend some time on myself.
Convenient downtown location.
Well equipped.
My stretch & flex class that I take on monday and wednesday are fun. Tammy is a great instructor and the class participants are enjoyable to be around.
Eddie does a really good job of running everything.
I have two drawbacks though. That classroom is always so darn cold. and there is no pickleball court. (haha)

All staff members are so friendly and helpful. I travel from Fort Wayne with my toddler for the little ones move and groove class and we are always blown away by how kind everyone is- especially Miss Katie! We love the Whitley Y so much it makes us want to relocate to Columbia city!

I like the staff. They have always been kind and courteous even when their job is demanding and overwhelming. I also enjoy the peace of mind having my time to workout and have my kids needs being met.
