I was and still am mad about the decision regarding the elimination of the steam room. I was consulted on the Kraft one and then realized that a Red light "light version" was installed. Not very popular, but fills a void. I travel all over NC/US and am delighted to let you know that the Wilmington YMCA has a very nice one as it was a focal point when building the new Y. IF, and I mean IF the YMCA can utilized PM(Preventive Maintenence), these would last much longer. Please evaluate what members are looking for and a stronger PM program.
The camp counselors are great! My kids love Taylor Family YMCA camp.

My son had an absolutely wonderful time at YMCA KIndercamp this summer. He loved all the staff, the activities, the swimming, and the weekly themes. He will be back next summer!
My daughter has been coming for years and wants to eventually work there as a counselor. What I love, as a mom, are the high standards that these kids are expected to abide by. They are taught how to respect one another and speak with respect and kindness and I truly appreciate that. Your program has helped shaped to my daughter in so many ways and it’s been such a positive influence on her all summer long, and even throughout the school year.
It's a positive atmosphere for my son to enjoy his summer. He loves the variety of activities, and we love that he gets to spend his summer outside playing. Every counselor is friendly and supportive.
The counselors took great care of my child and always praised her when I would pick her up. My child always came home telling me her cute stories about how much fun she had. Any issues with other children the counselors addressed immediately.
My family enjoys the facility very much. We appreciate being able to pause my daughter while she is away at college and then reinstate her.

More Sunday hours would be nice
It’s a very inclusive, healthy place for my whole family. I love Romain’s Pilates classes, and I wish there were more 9:15am and later for parents how have to do elementary school drop off!

Easy to sign up for and get to class. Variety of classes and instructors who are able to provide multiple levels of difficulty in a class. Members and staff are easy-going and friendly.

Customer service
easy drop off and pick up. many activities for the kids to choose from. no electronics is a great thing.
Counselers provide a fun and supportive environment. My son is very shy but immediately warmed up to the YMCA aftercare team and now complains if I pick him up too early!

Good classes and instructors
