Well-equipped and managed facility
My children really liked their counselor and got in the car each day excited to tell me about their day and how much fun they had. They are tough critics so I was thrilled to hear that! On Thursday, of their week-long camp they were sad they only had another day. (Good thing I had already signed them up for another Y sport camp starting Monday!)
The only (BIG) challenge was that they had a child in their group who caused quite a bit of problems for everyone throughout the week. He argued, hit, threw balls at) in an effort to hurt others), and even threatened to kill my son. And that was all on the first day! Clearly not at all acceptable. When I alerted the head counselors and expressed my concern, I was surprised that they were unaware of the problem. (My children’s direct counselors were aware but had not elevated it despite the severity and level of unacceptable behavior.) It appears nothing was done to rectify this situation as my children tell me of the boy’s continued bad behavior every day this week. A direct threat to do physical harm to others should be taken more seriously and should not be tolerated at all.
My son has been loving each day so far! Always comes back happy :)
I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Camp GRACE at the Kraft family YMCA! They are loving, kind, and patient. My son has had a wonderful summer with them!
My children had a great experience. They did not complain about anything. They felt like the day was very well planned out. Great experience and the great service.
We are new to the YMCA, but enjoy going for the workout. We see our Neighbors there working out too!

It is easy to get in a full work out without long wait times for machines. The indoor track has been great during the humid and rainy days.
