I’ve been a member for 19yrs! One of the things that initially interested me was the sense of community that you get as soon as you walk in the door. As a newcomer to the area, the Y really helped us establish our roots here. I had small children at the time. They were always well cared for in the playhouse. Then over the years, they became involved in multiple sports programs and camps, eventually spending summers working at Camp Kanata, which was an amazing experience.
During that time I’ve steadily used the Y facilities for working out. There have been times when I’ve suffered from a lack of motivation and have found the personal training resources to be very helpful to get back to the gym and on track.
So when I say that the Y has been a big part of my family’s lives, it’s not an understatement. It really has been life changing.
Member since 2001. Always a welcoming environment. Recent work to improve facility a plus to maintain competitive edge. Love that it's an integral part of the community.

racquetball courts are main reason for me at Kerr. Weight room is good, never been to the pools.

I wish chair yoga classes could be in the morning and not all of them at 12:00 which is the middle of the day.

The YMCA is clean and has a friendly environment. They have a selection of many group classes at difference convenient times to choose from. They also of a state of the art equipment in the workout area. The YMCA is located approximately 10 or less minutes from my home. It is located in a safe area of town. I am meeting new people and getting fit, ready for 2025 results.
I enjoy my time spent there.
