It is a beautiful facility. I have found the staff very friendly. The parking is a bit of a problem when it's a busy time of day but I'm trying to determine the best time for me to attend.

I had a wonderful yoga with Kelly Monday morning. We got deep into hamstrings and shoulders but the class time flew by. It was such a great flow!! I have been coming more regularly now and have noticed what a friendly, engaged community Kelly has built through her teaching. She is a talented instructor and knows how to push you while still making it fun. She uses humor and warmth to make everyone feel welcome… even when it seems like there is not room for one more person in that room! I think everyone leaves the class with more happiness and peace than when they arrived. Thank you for being a wonderful teacher! You are appreciated.
I like going to a close by gym. The equipment is good. The space is very tight though in the weights area, wish there was a way you guys could build extra space to love the cardio machines. It is all very cramped.
I like having the pool and sauna.
The welcoming greeters immediately make you feel at home as you enter, which is wonderful.
I appreciate the diverse age range at the Y. Being a senior who lives alone, I enjoy the company of the children. The Y has afforded me the opportunity to work and volunteer with young girls in the volleyball program, allowing me to share my passion for the sport and enhance my coaching skills, fulfilling a personal goal.
Lea Thomas and her team are outstanding and truly embody the spirit of the YMCA. I look forward to continuing my work with Lea, and I am also eager to participate in more programs designed for seniors.

When the wellness center that I was a member for several years closed, my sister (who has been a member at the Kerr Y for years) suggested I give it a try.
This has been my first week at the Y. I like the group fitness classes and I have tried out 6 different classes so far. The instructors have been very welcoming and encouraging. They provide various forms of modifications so all levels of fitness can benefit.
So far I am very pleased with my exposure to the Kerry Family YMCA!

Just became a member but joining was easy. Recognizing my Medicare health benefit is a plus. Cycle room, classes and instructors are dandy.

Everyone has been so nice, friendly and welcoming. Even with the glut of Rex Wakefield folks joining, it’s been a smooth transition. Plus, 60-minute classes are awesome.
I've been going to the Kerr Y since moving to Wake Forest last summer, and am impressed with the facility, staff, and especially the recent equipment/layout improvements. I would however like to see improvement to the men's shower facilities as they are very limited given the number of people in the morning.
I love the sauna, the amount of showers, the fact that they provide towels, the childcare, the indoor classes, the track, and their equipment!
