Member Testimonials
The staff is hospitable . I realized that they know almost every students name and they are caring.
Great equipment, friendly people, clean locker rooms and showers.
We very much like the Ingram YMCA. The staff is friendly and competent. I like the yoga instructors. My wife is there for the indoor pool, which I like because the chlorine isn't as obnoxious as many indoor pools. I thought it might be a salt water pool originally.
The locker rooms are the best in any Y I have been in, with one exception. The half lockers are too small to fit my locker bag, so I have to bring items I need in a grocery bag.
The camaraderie among members, the friendliness of staff make the Y a great place to be.
They are amazing with children and call me for anything involving the children. The counselors are very nice and informative.
Love the pool, and staff are so friendly!
Convenience, cleanliness, friendly staff
Always a friendly helpful face when we check in. Clean environment.
I take classes with Beverly, Amanda, Tenika, and Katie. They are AMAZING! Instructions are clear and they motivate you while reminding you "it's your class"
Sauna is a wonderful option.
The women's locker room could use some ventilation or something for the humidity.
I am so grateful for a well-kept indoor pool that always has a lap lane available. It’s such a luxury. Most important, the staff is super friendly and knows members’ names. That means a lot. Great job, as my workout has become part of my daily routine seamlessly, as I was a faithful regular at the Kraft and Taylor YMCAs. If I had to wish for anything— I am used to extended hours for times I have late work days. Thanks for the opportunity to provide feedback.
Equipment, indoor pool, classes, what more do you need? oh yeah, the friendly greeting at the front desk and locker are a bonus!
I loved the most the Zumba class with ally, you need another morning class with that, not Wednesday or Thursday.
Love water aerobics with Amanda
I enjoy the positivity shared at the Y. I enjoy the joyful energy expressed in staying physically active.i enjoy the fellow numbers and find them friendly and engaging. I love to see physical activity improving the health and welfare of its patrons. They always greet you and they know your name.
A lifesaver
Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I am enjoying the variety of group fitness classes offered.
I truly enjoy and appreciate the staff and all the activities provided. They do an amazing job. My son has been attending Camp Voyager for along time. I'm hoping that he can come back in the future and volunteer.
The kids love the councilors and the councilors seems to genuinely love the children. I am still highly upset you suddenly canceled after school in Lee County for 2Phone number removed. I am not sure if you will even have day camp next summer based on the cessation of the youth program.
Kind staff and excellent childcare workers.
Courteous staff, varied exercise programs, clean facility.
The classes are at convenient times but the instructors are the best part of going there. They help me stay focused on my goals. I know I’m exercising correctly when I participate in classes.
I like the welcoming staff and excellent instructors. The opportunity for taking classes or private instruction is available. The pool is open for families as well as water aerobics. Ingram Family YMCA is a vital part of our community.
Large space with lots of equipment.
The staff are very professional. You are welcomed when you arrive and are asked if you needed anything such as a locker or towel.
The life guards monitor the pool and help you if needed. The facility is clean and the equipment is well maintained.
The friendly staff, the pool accommodations
Friendly people.
It is a positive environment and I know my child is safe when he’s there.
Clean facility, friendly staff. Staff also very helpful to this 81 year old non techy.
So far so good
My son has been to other camps and has said the counselors from the YMCA are hands down the nicest and most friendly! He has had an overall great time. The counselors seemed to genuinely care for the campers, and reached out to me to help enhance my son's experience and help him gain confidence for the swim test that he was nervous about taking. I also appreciate that they tried to prevent campers from being outside during heat advisory times.

My only feedback would be it would be nice if there could be field trips (perhaps to the movies or a museum) to give a little variety for campers who are there weekly. Since the only location is at the school and the local Y pool, field trips could help elaborate on the theme of the week (a visit to the planetarium on space week, for example). I understand that costs and resources factor into that decision, but it would be a nice offering it if was possible.
This was my son's first year attending the camp at WB Wicker through the YMCA. At first, of course, he was nervous but eventually has loved this camp. He enjoys that he has options or what he wants to participate in during the week, swimming daily and playing with new friends he has made. The staff are phenomenal and very helpful. My son has enjoyed camp so much this year and excited for next year.
Not busy in the am. Good variety of equipment. Staff is friendly and helpful
