Great facilities— unique clay tennis courts, beautiful pool… how ever the pool needs better maintenance— neither the deck nor the pool are cleaned enough— there are leaking water fountains, broken fan in men’s locker, lack of landscape maintenance, etc. the pool needs more shade, because of the intense heat also…
I like the outdor pool. Safety with lifeguards around making aure ceryone follows rulea. Friendly front desk staff. I wish have more time to see the other areas.
I couldnt find a family restroom like in Durham Downtown.
my daughter seems to have fun and love it. she is always wore out and tired at the end of the day so thats great for me as a parent lol she seems to have a packed full productive day!

My daughter enjoys YMCA camp very much! The counselors are awesome, and she LOVES Kona Ice Fridays!
Clean locker rooms. Nice big sunny pool. Love the lounge, chairs and the umbrellas. And being outside with nature. Nice staff.

My child has been attending YMCA afterschool 5 years. She absolutely loves it! Counselors are nice, and I love the structured programs that are offered.
The pool season should definitely start earlier and end later. In talking to the lifeguards they would like more hours - it could be a win win!
I really love that there is an outside pool and that those hours are more extended from the inside hours to give you more swim time and so very helpful during the summer.
The tennis courts are in great shape and maintained great. There are a lot of good players and scheduling is simple thanks to Jan our tennis Angel🎾🩷.

The Camp Frontier staff have been wonderful. So sweet, welcoming and interactive with all of the campers. Jonah comes home so happy and exhausted from the day’s adventures. We’re grateful for such a fun and safe day camp right in our neighborhood!

I am disappointed that a longstanding class that I have attended has been eliminated.
I am also disappointed in the short swim season.
I am very surprised that pool is not skimmed and vacuumed before pool opens. Alas this has always been a problem.
Our kids have fun and are taken care of all day with plenty of time outside.
Instructors for Cardio & Mat Pilates have been very good.
My daughter has a few friends from school in her camp group and she is loving it. Comes home tired every night.
The proximity, the leadership, variety of activities. My son came home the first day and said “this is the best camp ever”
They are very nice and respectful, plus they keep the kids involved in all the activities.
They are a bit more organized than last year.

Please stay open all through September and October and then start again for weekends in March and April and May
The Y at Hope Valley Farms is small but very friendly and accessible.
The location and grounds are beautiful. In addition, the staff is very helpful and friendly. It feels good playing here.

We enjoy the outdoor pool. Staff are doing a great job. Wish the baby pool had been open for the past few years. It was always closed when we came, and now is paved over. Please consider opening the Y for swim in the afternoon / evenings starting in late May.
