Thrift classes. Friendliness. Seeing familiar faces.
Always greeted by friendly front desk staff. Facility is always clean. There is a lot going on, a feeling of vibrancy. The crowd seems diverse and respectful. I like the personal trainers. And I like the reciprocal membership with other Y’s when I travel.
Love the variety and quality of the classes. Love the general friendliness of the atmosphere.

I love the Thrive classes.
I have made many friends playing pickleball at the Y.
But we had a not so good experience:
I nice and unique hoodie from my son was robbed from upstairs hanger. He was so upset and disappointed by the fact the Y couldn’t do anything about prevent or vigilant this happen. It also happened to me a few months ago.
But overall, I recommend the Y.

I love class offerings at different times of the day, the group fitness teachers....Matt is the best BodyPump teacher, IMO....and the community of different people you meet in classes.

more than just a gym it's a family community.
I'm a new member but so far the staff has been friendly, the equipment is well maintained, and the facilities are clean. My only complaint is that the men's sauna needs repair/updating (pending).
The atmosphere is always ao supportive, energizing and friendly. It nourishes my soul as well as my body.
Staff goes above and beyond. Very kind atmosphere. Robin and her team are great and so are all of the smiling staff at the front desk. Very friendly and accommodating.
I'm very happy with the Alexander family YMCA, I would love more than 2 Stairmaster machines. But otherwise it is really great!

The people who work there are friendly, kind, and always ready to help with anything at any moment. The employees really make the place feel like my second home. Everything else is good, as well, but it's the people who work there that make me keep coming back!
Very happy with the Y! I’m especially grateful for the childcare. The workers are so kind and trustworthy, and the space is always very clean. My only suggestion is that changing the direction of the track every day means that it’s always the same for folks (like me) who work out every other day. Maybe 2 days in a row of each direction would make more sense.
