I like the variety of both cardio and weight room equipment at the Sampson County YMCA. I have not used the pool since the YMCA took over the facility, but I is a great pool as well. Childcare is well attended and the staff is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Additionally there is a variety of fitness classes and programing for children.
Staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. Equipment is plentiful and love the 6 lane pool.
The best family atmosphere!
The facility is clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. So far, I have been to 2 different classes. Both were taught by Joanne Kerr. She is a very upbeat happy person and that reflects in all the members taking her classes. Who would have ever thought that you could "break a sweat" while sitting in a chair?! When I leave her class, I feel like I have had a good workout!
The other class I have taken with Joanne Kerr is water aerobics. That is another fun workout when you don't realize how much you have worked your muscles! If you want to, have to, or need to work out, why not have fun and enjoy yourself while doing so?
