Great swimming facilities! Warm water ! Clean locker room and swim deck .
I just moved to Wilmington,, and recently joined the NIR family YMCA off market Street. I spend most of my time in the wet area swimming laps. I love the pool and all the lap lanes available for swimmers. The lifeguards are very attentive and friendly. The locker rooms are clean and spacious. The steam room and sauna work very well. The men showers always have soap in the dispensers and are very clean.

Lots of activity choices and convenient location
Friendly staff, it has what I need to work out with.
But I do wish there was a Y on the north side of town. Wilmington is big enough two have three.
Love the classes but I feel the sign in is stressful things can pop up at the last minute keeping you from attending. If it is less than an hour you have to call in to cancel

Friendliness of entire staff!
It’s a great place to workout. They have a wonderful staff of employees and instructors who are always willing to help you meet your goals. Besides the gym and classes, they have great community health programs.
I love the y. I do wish they would put a new flooring down in the women’s adult dressing room. It’s looking pretty nasty.
The water aerobics also Mono at the front desk is so friendly.
I enjoy the deep-water aquatics very much but some days I feeel that we're too crowded in the pool, especially the deep end of the pool area.
There should be a specitic account of individuals only permitted at any special time.
I enjoy some of the aerobic exercises and making new friends.
