It feels like home. People get to know one another! From Mona and Justin at the front desk to Angie and Nadie instructing, to Peter doing maintenance. It takes all of them to make the family. Absolutely love it there.

I enjoy the community that is present at the Y. The instructors of group exercise classes truly care about you, and you can tell those that attend are part of something bigger than themselves. The atmosphere makes it fun and enjoyable and keeps you coming back.
Staff are GREAT.... Safety comes first..Been coming to the YMCA for since 2014...Had so much fun with classes. Got healthy ,and lost 50lbs... Glad to say still maintaining weight loss.... YEAH.
Friendly place with great facilities. Wish there were more barre classes as current ones somehow get filled within minutes of online reservations opening up.

I like the indoor pool. The classes for seniors and the family atmosphere. I don’t like that it is getting too big and people in charge of some things don’t care about the members and change what ever they think. They don’t ask or get their opinion before they make changes. No body responds to emails. Sorry but I like it when it was a family.

Friendly staff, clean environment, family oriented, great communication skills when a change is in order.
Our latest visit was for the largest swim lesson and i have got to say it did WINDERS for my son. He is now enrolled for full lessons in July. We went to the pool yesterday and he practiced all the things he learned with y’all. i’m so very proud he did so well. he has severe anxiety and did this without needing his meds.

I normally go just for the pool from 7 am - 8 am. It usually is not crowded that time but lately that has changed.
My membership at the Y has literally turned my life around. 12 years later, I'm slimmer, more fit and more knowledgeable about my body. I've made lifelong friends and shared many joyous moments participating in Y activities. I love that my Y is such an important part of my Wilmington community. The programs are so vital and successful. Thank you!
The family like atmosphere
I appreciated a wellness orientation with Allon. I enjoy the classes, especially with Priscilla, she is excellent. I like having access to the pool, weights, machines. I am very fortunate to be a member of the YMCA.
The staff really care and go out of their way to help you!!
There are some classes I'd like to see two a week of....namely the Barre Lite class and the Core Skulpt class. It's hard to gain any momentum with only one class a week.
YMCA is not only a gym but a community with people working to build and enjoy fun and healthy opportunities for everyone in the family, I love to see traditional families and values in every location I visited, always with God first.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Especially Allon. He greats me by name every single time I see him! His smile makes me happy to be there. The facility is always very clean, even the bathrooms. I have had excellent teachers for the classes I attend. The Nir YMCA is one of my favorite things about spending so much of my retirement time in Wilmington!
