The facility is clean. Everyone is nice , respectful and helpful. There is plenty equipment so you don’t end up waiting to use a machine. The Saunas are located in the dressing rooms so they are separated which I love. Speaking of the sauna, omg! It is so warm and spacious and wonderful. The only thing that I could possibly say about the Jackson Y is the instructors could do better with instructions for classes. Like Zumba for instance. They need to go over the separate moves then put them together so people aren’t standing there confused feeling incompetent and end up leaving the class. Other than that, it’s an awesome place to work out.

It’s super clean and nice and big! Lots of equipment choices. I really enjoy the Barre class.

I feel like everyone I meet there becomes my extended family. I grew up military all my life and no continual friendships due to moving a total of 81 times in my life! I have planted myself in Jackson Township and the YMCA feels like my real home. The instructors and staff are friendly EVERY morning and listen to concerns and try to make positive changes for the good of everyone! I also like the Lunch and Learn opportunities!

I like the hours, specifically being open a little late. As a single parent with active children, I not able to focus on myself until the late evening. I am able to come in and exercise peacefully knowing I have taken care of family/home first.
