The instructors are great, the front desk staffs are so helpful, the parking lots are ample, the classes are so varied and engaging, especially for us seniors, and the swimming pool at the Windward Y is conveniently accessible.
I've lived in Kailua since 1967 and I apologize for not singling out just Nuuaunu YMCA in this
request to rave about my YMCA experience. My schedules always depend on my granddaughter's schedules. I've had happy experiences at the YMCAs at Kalihi, Windward and Nuuanu (and in Michigan!)

Nuuanu YMCA offers a very welcoming environment with a range of facilities and classes.
Classes are great and have excellent, devoted instructors.

Great equipment and staff
It's an important place in my life which I attend somewhat religiously. The early morning crowd are one of my group of friends. Their camaraderie, support and advice are a significant element of the start of every day.

I believe the wife puts a lot of effort into their programs. With the financial situation, it makes it nice to be able to have a place that is not super expensive to exercise.
i like the many available weights, nice and new machines.
i dont like the old parking lot, old locker room, old mens showers.
