Very welcoming atmosphere! Everyone, from the desk staff to the instructors communicate that they are glad we are there. The joining procedure is easy. The daily check in using a phone is so efficient . Seeing the little ones playing at the preschool in the area near the entrance always brings joy!
The two Silver Sneakers instructors are absolutely charming.

It has been my go to place to exercise and see my friends who I have been exercising with for more than 15 years! We are like family🩷. We are treated with respect and kindness at the Y. It is “our Y” and I love being there!
I enjoy the many options available to get/stay healthy and to have fun doing it. Additionally, staff is helpful and personable when needed. A great value for the money and a place to get healthy rather than to "be seen" if that makes sense. I appreciate this program!

I have been a member for 32 years at the YMCA on Shea and its an important part of my life to exercise and socialize.
The personnel working there are very helpful and friendly.
The gym is clean ; well equipped AND the yoga classes are outstanding!
(I have requested some weekend yoga classes similar to what we had in past but we still don't have any)

Great equipment, plenty of room
I’m 80 years old and knew I needed to start an exercise routine to stay healthy. I joined a year ago, and so far I’ve lost ten pounds and feel stronger and healthier. Two or three visits per week has made all the difference in the world thanks to the trainers and welcoming staff!

Only negative is the pool. It needs to have shade or it will give us all skin cancer!

Scottsdale YMCA has brand new equipment, always clean, not too busy and the staff always has a smile.
I have, unfortunately, dealt with a lot of sub par sports programs. Disorganized, unprofessional, uninviting and a complete waste of time and resources. Thankfully, that is not the case with the Scottsdale/Paradise YMCA.
The program is well run, organized and efficient with kind staff and volunteers. The program director, Cody, is always available whenever we have questions and actually listens and acts upon any concerns that may arise.
The coaches are amazing. They are great with the kids and promote a well rounded player with good character while also coaxing out the best athlete in each child. They are a breath of fresh air and are adults I actually WANT in my kids lives long term.
Thank you for all that you do. You have had a positive impact on my children's lives that they will always look back on with fondness.
