What I like about the Northwest Valley YMCA is that it has a comb atmosphere and knowledgeable people very friendly place to work out I would encourage friends and family to go there.

Counselors made my child feel.comfortable. no bullying policy. Other children were respectful and polite, no foul language. My child was looking forward to going daily and did not want me to.pick her up early.

My teens have fun visiting with new friends and going on the outings. They have supervision but a bit of freedom as well. They have something fun to do and come home with great stories from their day. This location has excellent employees and feels like a family. My teens have enjoyed it so much they have asked to continue for another week.

It is like a family! I have made gym friends that have become life friends! One of my instructors has become a good friend and her daughter even babysits my own children. I never feel uncomfortable at the Y and there is always a kind person to help me whenever I don't know how to use equipment or perform a task in a class. I switched gyms for a couple months a few years ago and hated it. I had to make the switch back to the Y and couldn't imagine going anywhere else again!

I like the atmosphere and the staff. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. There are exceptions, of course, but they don't seem to stay long. I do wish we were better informed about events causing closure of the pool or shorting of the time. I like that there aren't huge tvs everywhere. I like the calmer atmosphere in the exercise area.

When I first stopped by the Y to sign up for a membership I was greeted by very friendly, helpful people. They spent quality time explaining about the membership and the classes I was inquiring about. I have now been a member for a couple of months and still am greeted by wonderful people. I love the classes, the instructors, and the clean environment. It is a great place and hope I can continue my activities at this Y for a very long time!

I like the silver sneakers classes and that there at least 4 per week.

I have attended YMCA since 2012, my son started attending in 2017. We mostly attend the water aerobic classes 3-4 times weekly. The classes help us with strength and endurance. Since my son had open heart surgery in 2012, and moved here in 2017. We are very grateful 1st of all for the helpful front reception helpers. They alway greet all attendees with respect, friendliness, and a beautiful smile. And our aqua instructruction are the best ever. They keep us moving and busy with amazing classes. We absolutely love them! Evie, Diane, Jan, Tonia and others that help. They are the bomb! We appreciate having a such a great variety of classes all year long!
