We are relatively new members and just discovering all of he Y has to offer. So far we love the group classes and the employees have been friendly and helpful. We’ve met a lot of friendly folks in the group classes too. The only disappointment is the pool closes for the winter otherwise we would rate the Y a perfect 10.
Warm and engaging staff that reach out to welcome you and help you become familiar with facility and equipment and a casual and relaxed atmosphere are the greatest reasons for joining.
Also appreciate the varied classes and levels offered and equipment.
Associate's are very helpful and friendly. The gym is very clean and there are many different types of exercise equipment to fit everyone's fitness abilities. There are also many exercise classes to attend for all types of people.

Almost never crowded. Clean, well maintained, all sorts of exercise equipment, swimming pool, basketball courts, clean bathrooms and showers and very friendly staff.

The Y accommodates people of every exercise level, from Tai chi and Water Aerobics to personal training and Cycle. Everyone is welcome and enthusiastic!
THE Ross Farnsworth East Valley YMCA is an amazing facility with equally amazing staff! It’s always such a delight to see how each and every one of them interacts with people from all walks of life, and work together to make sure everyone who comes through the doors has the best experience possible at the YMCA!
The youth center is a very welcoming environment for the kids. Plus the Executive Director is AMAZING.
The YMCA staff and members have truly become a second family to us. My daughters are active in various sports teams at the Y, and they also benefit from kids' care services for after school and school breaks. When my family experienced a life-changing car accident, the entire YMCA community came together to support us in so many ways. I will forever be grateful for each and every member of the Ross Farnsworth YMCA team.

There’s something for everyone. There’s a variety of classes if you want to take one, there’s childcare/preschool for those who need it, and there’s a variety of equipment available for use.
