I started the Silver Sneakers program with my husband when the Y first offered it. Since my husband died, I have attended Silver Sneakers at Light of the Desert Church. I have enjoyed most of the Y instructors very much plus appreciated the member friendships I have made over the years. I am positive that the exercise programs offered by the Y help the elderly members maintain better health for more years of their lives. Thank you.
There’s a variety of activities available and friendly staff at the front desk. The pool is clean and lifeguards are vigilant and helpful. I appreciate that the y belongs to Active Renew so my membership is covered by insurance.
Happy people who support enjoying sports! It's been so fun to be around the passionate coaches, referees and other YMCA volunteers. Great facility. Always look forward to Wednesdays/Saturdays!
Usually not crowded, it's clean and the staff is very friendly. I just wish people would put the weights back where they belong, though.
Great classes and instructors, variety of equipment, including new state of the art equipment. I have made many new acquaintances and reconnected with old ones.

Lots of classes to choose from, although because I'm not retired yet, I haven't tried all of them. I enjoy giving/receiving puzzles and books, there is always something going on--lots of activity.
