Great classes and friendly people.
What don't I like, the people who work at the Y are so helpful and friendly. The classes offered (of which there are many) are taught by great people who really seem to care and are passionate about what they do. The workout machines are great. And you meet so many nice people, many of whom become real friends!

Love all the different choices for classes. The employees are great - super helpful and friendly. The Y has a lot of activities to join and meet new people (like the monthly potluck).

I feel very comfortable coming to Valley of the sun YMCA. I have tried many of the classes available and have found the ones that are right for me. I have made many YMCA friends and enjoy seeing the same people at the classes at each class when I am there. The staff and instructors are helpful friendly people which helps with the feeling of it's the right place to be.

Coach Monica and Rita for the Cave Creek AZ youth volleyball are amazing!!
We have had a great experience with the youth basketball program. Our coach has been wonderful! He positively encourages the kids to do their best. I also love the flexibility to make suggestions on the day of the week you can practice, as to not overwhelm someone’s schedule.

I have been coaching and my son has been playing in the YMCA leagues since he was 4- he is 8 now. Drew who runs the program is responsive, organized and helpful. From asking for advice on coaching to simple scheduling questions Drew is always responsive and helpful. The staff is excellent. The emphasis on sportsmanship is awesome. I couldn’t be happier with the basketball program. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get their child involved in youth sports.
My daughter has had a great experience playing both rec basketball and volleyball. She's learned new skills, grown as a player, and made new friends. We sign up every season and wish there was an option for recreational leagues for junior high and high school age kids who may not be on teams at school but who still just want to play for fun (as opposed to trying out for the comp teams at the older levels). We love the clean and comfortable work out environment as well.

It is a family friendly environment. I have made a lot of great connections and built some great relationships here.
Family friendly. Clean facility. So many options and great communication. My son plays basketball and we love it there! I love how cool the staff is about lowering the rim for us when we show up just to practice a little. I wouldn't join another gym if it were free.

I love that I go and meet up with other gals and have coffee after exercise. Knowing others will be there makes me accountable. I have been going since this YMCA opened.
