Friendly Atmosphere.
The customer care provided by the morning front- desk crew (Shout-out to the ladies in the house!) constantly amazes me: They greet me with a smile and answer my questions (or get them answered from elsewhere in the house), all while answering numerous phone lines, performing duties I'm unaware of, interacting with colleagues as if they really like working with them, and displaying to me that they are actually glad that I came to the Chandler-Gilbert Family Y today and our paths crossed.
Able to access all the workout equipment without a hassle. No pressure ~ just individuals of all ages trying to stay healthy.
Programs
I really like your Volleyball program. It is nice for the kids to be able to play while not committing to (or paying for) club.
I appreciate the availability of the Y in that it is accessible financially as well as physically. There are a lot of sports options out there but the Y is definitely a great option for those who can't afford expensive club teams but still want good coaching. The Y also feels like a good entry point for kids who aren't as familiar with a sport or haven't been playing their whole lives. It is less intimidating even though there are still kids who are amazing athletes. All athletes of all abilities feel very welcome.
Very friendly and helpful staff including the instructors.
Fun to watch the kids on their side of things and adults on the other.
Well organized and structured. Fun and productive place.
New classes and offers quite often.
Enjoy it alot.
Coach Rodriguez is great, you can tell he really cares about the kids learning and having fun. Adele always has good things to say about the team and her self confidence after practice
friendly
It brings people and families together to help share moments of joy and fun by playing games. Just getting everyone’s minds off stress that life brings by that escape through games.
The Y provides a good introduction to children's sports with opportunity to grow, develop and become competitive in a safe and positive atmosphere.
Very inclusive and positive. Creates a fun environment for the athletes.
Ease, trusted community and welcoming atmosphere.

Good
I’ve had my kids in ymca sports for a while now and we love how cheap it is even if you can’t afford it they have programs that help with it financially. The membership includes a lot of amenities as well.
My son loves it
The encouragement to the players.
The coach teaches the girls different positions s and how to go hit/ serve correctly and shows them and tells them how to do things for improvement in a positive e way.
I also like the fact they get an hour of practice steerage from there game day!
Great place to work out and meet friendly people.
Very friendly staff...not too crowded...my age group (senior) along with some younger people.
The exercise classes for Seniors.
From the front desk, to the classroom, and everything in between the staff is amazing and my daughter loves it there!!
Family atmosphere, something for all ages, clean equipment and facilities
Welcome Center staff is always friendly
The classes are led by leaders who gently encourage you to do your best within your limits. You are able to workout at your own pace with no criticisms or comments from anyone. I enjoy active older adults class and look forward to continuing all summer long. I benefited greatly from better balance class and am anxious to join again when it starts up in August. Thanks YMCA for making exercising fun!
The friendliness of the staff and the feeling of community I experience while in my yoga class.
My daughter feels safe and enjoys going after school!
Friendly staff

My daughter absolutely loved the TILT Camp program. She was able to gain so much experience in leadership opportunities. She really enjoyed getting to work with the early learners program, as well as the great outside speakers that came and spoke. Great program, and she can't wait to enroll for next summer.
