Austin's big smile and incredible hospitality from the first moment we walked in the door, to the end of our week's trial, made our days. He is so genuine and generous with his time and knowledge, and such a proud ambassador of your incredible facility. Every organization should have someone as professional and personable in a client-facing role as your Y does with Austin.
Your facility is beautiful, and Austin is credible with his explanations about the recent expansions and how new the equipment is. We loved the top-notch equipment, and options for where we could use it, along with the fantastic yoga space. The facility was always so clean and well-run, and seeing the diversity in clientele, from kids to seniors, is testament to how welcoming you are and how welcome you make everyone feel. We were too busy during the day on our house-hunting trip to take advantage of the many classes, but were impressed with the schedule and options available. Even during peak usage at the Y, there was never a wait for equipment or showers and we never felt crowded, as there is so much darn space to enjoy!
Austin explained about streaming classes too, but again, we didn't have enough time to take advantage of that, but if we become Ahwatukee residents, we definitely will be signing up for annual memberships.
Everyone should visit your facility. Either as a client, or as an information-gathering field trip, to learn about customer service and facility design and features. Your Y is one of the best gym facilities we've enjoyed, with so much more than great equipment.

Great equipment, friendly staff
The best thing about this ymca is location and keeping the facility up to date on equipment and maintenance. My only thing I don’t like is that the pool hours aren’t all day. Would be great to have it open the same hours as the facility. Thank you for everything you all do to keep the facility the best in ahwatukee.

All the Instructors are just amazing and upbeat and have they do that all day Is amazing to me they encourage us and help us and there are so many nice people in the classes that it’s a joy to go there and then you feel better after you’ve had a class. I moved down here recently due to the loss of my husband and another state, and they worked very Hard trying to find a grieving class for me and the gal actually did and I’m in it now all the employees are so friendly. It’s a pleasure to go there.

The classes are great . I do suggest that a couple of hooks to hang jackets and purses be put in the back room so we dont have to put them on the floor. crowded classes are an issue but I guess the y is growing.

The staff that greet you are great - friendly, helpful. The overall space is limited, but the distribution of equipment and exercise room are creative and make the best use of available space. I wish there were more upright bikes in the main equipment area. I hope that the spinning bikes will return to the interior as Arizona reaches its usual very hot summer.
The staff is both welcoming and supportive. The location is convenient for daily workouts. The equipment satisfies my needs.
