The grounds (CGS) are amazing and the activities are great for our girls!
Adventure Guides is a great way to spend concentrated quality time with my kiddo doing amazing activities and making lifetime memories! I recommend this program to all dads with K to 3rd graders.
The kids love it. But for the cost, it’s really hard to justify especially when we are on our own for the 2 biggest meals. And no meal Sunday now at sky ranch.
My daughter loves all the activities. The staff was awesome and treated the girls with care. We accidentally forgot our sleeping bags and and pillows and they were able to provide is with some. We appreciated everything they did for us that weekend.
Activities, facilities, flexibility
This was my first time taking my son on one of these trips and we had a great time.
Sky Ranch is a great facility and my son and I had a great weekend!
The kids always look forward to these camping weekends. There’s lots of activities at Sky Ranch and helps my kid explore and try more things.
It’s amazing because of the opportunity it gives children to do something they like.
The only downside is YMCA doesn’t provide a closer location for Irving residents.
Very grateful for receiving my child. The team was amazing made my son fit right in even though he was the smallest of the group.
Please bring back the cow up needs basketball
Miracle League is amazing and Vicky is amazing. She brings such energy and joy to these events. My daughter is very sad when she has to miss a game.
we are so grateful for this program.
One of one time with my kids
Community with other dads
Ceremonies that give the campouts more meaning for me and and my kids.
It was great to break away from the normal routine and spend some time together with my daughter!
activities were good, great location
We loved it! I liked getting the freedom to hang out with my son and his friends and their dads and have some loosely organized activities.
The camp was well staffed. Facilities were in good shape (besides dock).
Camp Grady Spruce was very nice and a great setting for a fun camping weekend. Lots of fun things to do and the facilities met expectations. Staff was friendly. All around great time.
Great program.
It was my first time going to a YMCA Adventure Guide, but it was a great experience getting to know all-new people and having the activities right there. I enjoyed having the Y provide the breakfast and lunch meals in the mess hall and enjoyed the quality of the food given our young audience. The only thing that I think would have put a new camper at ease would have been getting the packing list via email further in advance as I got it the day we were leaving. Was reliant on our troop leader to confirm a lot via emails as there was no official list shared in advance about what to pack (that I can recall).
Great program to bond with your child. I am participating with number 2 now.

Great time. Great facilities.
Awesome site well managed. Good mix of structure and free time. Great leaders.
The wide range of activities offered
Great activities without being overly scheduled. Plenty of time to let the kiddos play and spend time with our daughters
Great focused time with my kiddos!
The activities are awesome. However, the price is too high for these campouts. My kids also do Cub Scouts and it is significantly cheaper.
I love that the campout is structured without being overly structured. It lets us go at our own pace which we appreciate. Staff is all wonderful and a delight to deal with. I encourage every grade at school to do a campout with their child. It’s a blast!

It's an incredible opportunity to spend 1:1 time with my daughter and let her run around with friends outside. It's truly unique to let her enjoy some time in nature, doing fun activities and being 100% away from screens
