The instructor was great with her class, and he was swimming within 2 weeks! We signed up for the additional 2 weeks, because the class was so great and he was learning so much!
The instructors were very passionate and patient with my child. They kept my little one motivated with positive affirmation which made them wanting to succeed and overcome their fear of water.

I started out with 0 experience in swimming. The class was paced a little faster than I had hoped for. I practiced for a few hours on my own and I was confidently swimming and floating after the first week. I didn't expect to be able to do both after only 1 week. There were quite a few people who had basic swimming skills. I felt a little pressured to get swimming down. The time of day was perfect for a swim class because the sun wasn't as hot. I was a little uncomfortable learning so many new things when I expected it to be a slow paced class. Overall it helped because I am able to swim. I plan to take more private lessons in the future to work on my technique. I am happy with the success I found with swimming.
My grandson is 7 years old and his swim instructor worked very closely with him and he was afraid to swim but, after two private swim lessons, he is swimming very well. He went to another pool and passed the swim test on first try.

I like that lessons are 4 days a week. Repetition is key to learning. I also love how the instructors give feedback to every parent. They really work with the kids and help them improve in areas they are struggling in.
Facility is always clean. People are friendly.
My kids have grown so much with the YMCA swimming lessons program. They are learning how to be safe in the water and the different swimming strokes/styles. It’s pretty amazing with how far they have come. I loved the instructors we had too! Specifically Georgia and the male instructor with the curly red hair. Both were incredibly knowledgeable and always shared updates with me about their progress.
Kids have a good time
I enjoyed the personal hands on 1 coach to 2 kids approach with the semi private lessons. Seeing my kids the first day and then again at the end of two weeks was a big change.
They had some of the best instructors and I’m enrolling them again for another two weeks so they can advance to level 3 and level 4

I like a lot of the classes. I'm a regular on Monday & Wednesday. I'm glad you're doing the remodeling and understand there will be construction issues. More kids here during this summer but sometime they are very loud.
The instructors were great with all the kids, and kept working on fundamentals.
