✅Thanks T. Boone Pickens YMCA.
The Downtown Dallas YMCA is easily one of the best gymnasiums in the city of Dallas. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The staff and fellow gym growers are friendly, kind, respectful, welcoming, and a pleasure to get to know. I always feel better after having attended the YMCA in Downtown Dallas. Thank you.
The facilities are great -- there's no more comprehensive set of fitness offerings to be found -- but the real heart of the TBPY is the community.
Convenient, nice employees. Has everything I need.
Friendly, clean and convenient location. Offers lunch classes that I can squeeze in during the day. Never crowded.
we live near and typically visit the Semones Y here in north dallas. We went to the T Boone Pickens location to play raquetball. The gym was clean, staff was friendly (more so than Semones) and the gym less crowded than the others we have visited.
I like the overall atmosphere that feels much less judgmental and much more accepting than any other gym I’ve been to. I also really like the separate wet areas for men and women. It’s much more comfortable. The downtown Y is a very important asset to the city and even though I don’t get there as often as I wish I could I still maintain my membership to help keep it open.
It’s a great place to worship out and me people. I have met a ton of people and made a ton of friends since going to the y
My favorite part of the T. Boone Pickens YMCA is the great people who work there and the kind and friendly people who exercise there. Many of us have become friends who get together inside and outside the Y. Thank you to all of those who make that experience possible!

Jeff Thomas and the rest of the staff are great. The members are friendly. It's an excellent facility and a welcoming place.
Best weight room in downtown Dallas, plenty of equipment and there is almost never a wait.
I have been a member of the Y for many years. The staff is always very friendly, gym clean and organized. Additionally love the space.
People programs, size, parking and equipment.
Every one who works at the t Boone is so helpful and friendly. I enjoy visiting with them
The facility is awesome, very open, clean, and plenty of equipment to use that meets a variety of needs. The staff is friendly and supportive. The locker rooms are spacious and kept up well.
The pool is a plus particularly if you enjoy swimming laps.
Location

I am very happy with our downtown YMCA. Folks are friendly and helpful.
I use the pool 99% of the time. I do wish I could swim earlier in the morning. Waiting until 11:00 wastes most of the day. I also wish more lanes could be open to do laps. Often there are more than four people wanting to swim. It's hard to share lanes. I'm always banging my hands on the lane dividers.
On my last visit, there was no soap at the pool showers. I was there when a disabled man in a wheelchair was trying to shower at the pool. He dragged the bench by the door to the shower so he could slide over from his wheelchair to take his shower. He wanted soap, but neither dispenser had soap. He rinsed off and then had to drag the bench back to the door. The lifeguards had helped him out of the pool but did not help him at the shower. There were 3 lifeguards so one should have been there for him.
Ok, I'm on a roll. The women's locker room showers are always closed off. That is where the suit wringer is located. I leave my suit in my locker and it's too wet without wringing. The other set of showers are not set up for taking in my bag and keeping items off the floor.
Thanks for listening. I do love swimming downtown.
