I enrolled my grandson in the Toddler Water Exploration class and had Isabella as his instructor. Isabella did a wonderful job providing individual attention and specific instructions to him and the other babies. I also appreciated the safety tips and precautions that caregivers must take
when toddlers and children are near pools. The class itself was very beneficial.
The only issues of concern for me and noticed and discussed with parents and others swimmers is the unsanitary look and condition of the pool at Moorland which still exists today. The pool is in dire need of daily vacuuming and cleaning of excessive clumps of dirt and debris throughout the entire floor bottom of the pool. The entire pool needs resurfacing and maintenance to repair noticeable cracks and discoloration. The outdoor shower is inoperable and therefore nonexistent for rinsing off before pool entry. These issues certainly continues to give myself and others pause for entering the pool and participating in pool activities.

Everything the people are the very best always there to help you anyway they can . Its the greatest place to get your workouts.
My children have a young man named Dom. He is awesome and even with their fears he is reassuring to them.

I love my exercise classes, bingo, birthday celebrations, water aerobics, the entire staff. From the front door to the back door. All of the people are soooo nice.❤️
Staff is courteous and the array of offerings
Our lessons were outstanding this year. Avery was my daughter's instructor and he was excellent. It was our first time not having someone who appeared to be a teen. He gave great feedback and demonstrations to the kids regarding technique. However, the class next to us had an instructor (young man with locs) who we previously had a prior year. He only had maybe 4 students in his class. 2 were siblings were 1 sibling and the parents did not speak English. He neglected them a lot of the time and gave too much attention to a boy who was scared of the water. Often times they were left to practice on their own, with the older more proficient sibling helping his younger sister. Instructor cannot neglect and give unbalanced time in that way. I felt like the instructor would not have done that if the parents spoke English. I could see them look anxious and talk amongst themselves when their children were being neglected. Another time this same instructor talked at length with a parent from another class during the class. They weren't even the instructor for that class. They should have told the parent that they could discuss it after class. The class is only 30 minutes and our kids deserve every minute that we are paying for. It's hard enough to get effective instruction for multiple kids in that amount of time, especially depending on who the instructor is. Please have instructor be more conscious of distractions and giving kids equal time and attention.

I would definitely recommend teen camp at moorland family YMCA to my family and friends, I am very happy, my son has matured a lot these 2 weeks, he is always happy and happy every morning, thanks to the teen camp team
