I love the YMCA they have everything you need I love the exercise room it's very convenient and easy to use I love interacting with the other people there they make you feel welcome everytime you step in the door your greeted with a smile and hello. They have the little center for your children so while you work out they can play or watch TV I love it at the YMCA Thank You All

Carolina was such a wonderful instructor. She took her time with each classmate to help them feel comfortable and confident in their swimming abilities. I'd highly recommend anyone to take swim lessons here!
Pool is fun,
My daughters swim instructor was Johnathan. He was amazing. He was very encouraging and patient. He ensured safety protocols were being followed by other instructors who didn’t seem think it was important. (It was close to the end of the pool closing and I saw some of the lady instructors trying to take the oxygen tank in while kids and adults were still swimming. Johnathan stood up and advised them to stop and since they were so in a rush I guess, he stated leave it there he will put it up but it needs to stay outside. He was not rude or anything just wanted everyone to be safe). The whole swim instructor team at Moorland was awesome.
Our instructor could have been a little more trained. They told my kid that they themselves couldn't float on their back that well. Also, my kid seemed to have learned more while they had a fill-in. But the worst was the instructor for the babies. I would have wanted my money back. Most of the time he wasn't even in the pool (sitting on the side talking) or interacting with the families. He even did a few laps in another part of the pool while his lesson was going on.
I loved how my kid went from afraid to put his face in the water to swimming to the bottom of the 9-foot end of the pool!
I liked the excellent service & attention my grand daughter Claire was given. She had a great teacher, Stephen. He was very patient & professional. Stephen made Claire feel safe & comfortable. Very good swimming coach. Claire's classes were monday - thrusday @ 10:00 am.

Everything
Gerald has been wonderful with our daughter! He is great at balancing encouragement with appropriate scaffolding for the needs of each child. He doesn't rush in to rescue and I think that has helped our daughter's confidence with her swimming. We also like that the class sizes are small so each child get's attention while also watching what the other kids are able to do. Thanks!

I really like the instructors
I absolutely loved our 2 swim instructors. Gerald and King were wonderful and patient with my 2 daughters. I saw improvement in both my girls abilities in the water and look forward to having my girls having more lessons in the future.
The instructor works so well with the kids. My son Aaron loves him and most importantly trust him.
The class was small (4) people and the instructor (steve) was very patient and caring for the 1st students taking swimming lessons. The facility was very relaxing and employees were friendly.
I usually schedule earlier in the summer but due to other scheduled events my child attended the last session. The groups are smaller and Steven is an attentive instructor who specifically challenges each participant based on their individual skill level.
It's a very friendly family!
