Exercising in the neighborhood!!
Nice community feeling at the YMCA. Can get a great workout in and relax a minute if you want. Gym is CLEAN :) The child watch is convenient for me. I also LOVE supporting a business that employees teens/adults with "special needs" aka different life experiences that don't deem them incapable!
I have noticed a [somewhat extreme] lack of enthusiasm from some child watch employees. Almost as if they didn't sign up to interact with kids.... still evaluating what I think ab that...
Would be good to install an automatic remote lock on child watch door so person behind desk could remotely unlock it for parents vs having to send someone to the door. I can tell that it wears on them and it is an easy, relatively inexpensive, fix.
Would be cool if y'all invested in a couple of high end massage chairs that members could use... How do ya'll fund stuff? Just budget? Do yall do fund raisers? Is there a board?
Another way to easily elevate the vibe at the Y would be making the locker room more comfortable and accommodating.
Lastly I want to use one of the reformer machines that the Y owns outside of class-- am I able to?

The coaching and camaraderie have been excellent.
As always, I enjoy visiting the Moody Family YMCA the most because the club is kept very clean, and the staff is very upbeat and positive. Thanks for allowing me to share my opinion.

THE STAFF
Freindly, professional staff and environment
McKenzi is fantastic and our child is learning so well! He really enjoys the lessons and looks forward to it every week. McKenzi is an expert with teaching swimming and we have taken lessons with her regularly and seen such a huge improvement in a short time.
Decent equipment, clean and coffee and fellowship
Staff is helpful and friendly. Brenda helps to keep things going in the front. She is a shinning light. Also, I like to see John at the entrance greeting me with a smile.
The facility is clean.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoy my workouts at the Moody YMCA.

The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a nice variety of group classes, although the options could be expanded. For example, how about offering Tai Chi, meditation, and a flexibility and stretching (not yoga) class?
Clean environment and showers. Great equipment and fantastic aquatic area and classes. Love the underground parking.
Lots of variety in activities, something for all ages!
I love the Y, I took a Mahjong class, I do restorative yoga, and I use the gym.
