I love the yin class Tuesday and Thursday evening with Deborah. Our community is just awesome!

Very reasonably priced.
Equipment is reliable.
Has a relaxed neighborhood feel to it as opposed to other gyms.
TVs help the time pass when working out.
Your location is very convenient for us and your staff is very considerate and caring.
I really enjoy exercising at the McKinney Y. Upon entering the facility, we are greeted by Y personnel with big smiles who are eager to answer any question we may have. Every trainer/coach leads the class in an upbeat, friendly manner and we are always instructed well to keep us focused and safe. Thank you for all they do. I feel blessed being a Y member!
Great Front Desk Assistance and clean floor.
Friendly staff. Group classes
The Staff is always friendly and helpful and the Instructors are out of sight!
Coach Hill was wonderful with the kids. He not only helped my child love the sport, but did a great job at teaching good sportsmanship, encouraged the kids, and taught them practical skills. The referees were always so encouraging and took time during the games to help them understand the sport and were so kind. Such a great experience this season! We can’t wait to play with the Y again
Friendly staff!

The people who check me in are always very friendly.
The McKinney Y is a very happy place to workout in and the people are always welcoming.
Silver sneakers classes and the gym for walking on cold days
The staff, the teachers, the janitorial services. Everyone is friendly. The rooms are immaculate. The classes offered are of great interest to me. My health does not always correspond with my desires and abilities for activities. But still I strive towards fitness in my limited way. I used to take 3 Pilates classes per week when in my fifties, living in another state. Now, decades later, I still have fond memories of being fit and strong. So, I keep trying.
Very friendly, clean, organized, and great machines to workout on. Never very crowded, which is a huge plus for me. All around a nice place to work out.
Friendly people and friendly atmosphere.
The y is close by. There are always a pleasant greeting as I arrive and a have a great day when I leave. The instructors are very well trained and the classes hard but well worth going to.
Great choice of classes.
I like that it feels like a tight knit community. There is little staff turnover and it is so nice to see friendly faces every day. Their Child Watch is unrivaled. My children stayed there when they were little and the same staff members are still working in it today. My daughter recently even started working in the Child Watch, as she has such fond memories of it from when she was little. My son has worked with the basketball trainer, Coach Cam, for five years. He loves the relationship they have built and the stability and how much he has developed in the sport. I love the Y's community outreach programs, which are so important for so many.
Wish there were more opportunities to play Pickleball.
The YMCA provides the equipment & classes for senior citizens.
Friendly, clean, classes, equipment & price.

I often recommend the Y in McKinney where I have been a member for 10 yrs. to all my senior friends who do not exercise. Not only does this Y offer so many senior classes that you can find one that suits you but you can also meet the nicest people & make new friends. The social benefits plus the physical benefits makes Y the best place to be 3-5 mornings a week!
