I enjoy the Senior class that I participate in. The instructor is excellent and the class is very beneficial to me. I enjoy being with a group when I exercise. It is inspiring to participate with others involved in the doing the exercise with you. I would also like to have a Senior Yoga class added to the selection. I can hope!

I am very happy with how well the classes went. The instructors are very nice and did great in helping my kids learn to swim.
The instructor Davion was fantastic. I was always afraid of swimming and never learned anything about it. Now I can and have done something in the swimming pool that is brand new to me. I am excited.

The swim instructors were very attentive and patient with my 6 year old grandson. Both instructors did a great job. After the lesson, the instructor would come over and give my grandson a word of encouragement, "you did great" and praise his progress. I was very pleased
Availability
We love the swim lessons at Grand Prairie Family YMCA! My kids, 5½ and 8½, started with no skills, and after just 8 lessons, they learned to breathe underwater, kick properly, and swim confidently. The instructors are great—patient and encouraging. It was a fun and positive experience for our whole family. Highly recommended!

The staff at the front desk is superb! They are so helpful! They are very respectful as well. My swimming instructor Davio is excellent! Last night was my first swimming class And before that I had only been to that YMCA once to join. I’m very impressed!

Friendly and inviting atmosphere
What I like that you can’t get from other places is a place for kids to exercise. The P. E. classes for kids is a good way for them to get exercise and the adults can exercise at the same time.
