Customer Service, facilities, and equipment are great
The first time I visited, Livia helped and did an excellent job introducing my sister and me to the YMCA. My heart doctor encouraged me to get stronger. Because I have a lot going on, still working, it took awhile to be able to come back. This time Julie did a great job helping me and my sister, Kim, who was with me. When I told her I wanted a Trainer, we looked at the wall of photos and information and I chose Ammie. A week or so passed and my sister and I came back to meet Ammie. We had a wonderful "get to know you" session in the round table room adjacent to the front desk area. Ammie listened carefully and at every point gave me the feed-back and knowledge I needed/wanted. As soon as I can find three consecutive session times that match what Ammie has available, I look forward to scheduling the sessions and learning from her expertise.
Very family, friendly, and instructors are great
All the staff is really friendly and helpful. All the members leave with a smile of their face. Great variety of classes, there is something for everyone. The facilities are cleaned and well maintained. And the price is unbeatable!
I like that my teenager has a safe place to workout on his own.

The classes and instructors,
I'm new to the Frisco YMCA family. I have the privilege of participating in the Live Strong Program, which is a survivor's program where a personal trainer helps with mobility and strength building. This will be my 2nd week in the program.
The front end staff and membership team are friendly and supportive. The entire intake process was simple. I'm looking forward to using many of the amenities and to a long relationship with the Frisco YMCA.
Everyone is so friendly and kind. The facility is light and bright. It is kept very clean. It is a very fun and welcoming atmosphere.

The refs in the basketball program for middle school kids are fantastic and a real blessing to the kids, coaches, and parents
I love the YMCA and have been a member as well as an employee over the past 20 years. The connection and compassion shared by the staff and members as well as the child development area surpass any other organization. The Community and Christian values are very important as the YMCA meets the needs of the Mind,Body and Spirit.
Developmental league refs are good with kids.
I really enjoy the sportsmanship and learning that's promoted. The referees for the basketball games are amazing.

Large variety of high quality equipment, I have never found it too crowded, staff welcoming and friendly, locker area & bathrooms are kept clean. I came from LifeTime, which I think is the best, when cost exceeded value. I miss the wet areas and the recovery equipment, but other than that I feel the Y is an equal.
What I'd like to see improved, encouraging members to:
- clean equipment & weights after use
- minimize use of phones, usually younger men camp out on equipment while using social media

My son had so much of fun and Mr. Graham and Mr. Newkirt was so dedicated and committed and groomed such a winning team. Thanks you the coaches and YMCA for making this happen.
Staff at front desk are always super friendly and always make me feel seen and welcomed. Classes offered are robust and at a great range of time from morning to evening. Instructors are awesome.
