The staff is fabulous, the trainers are professional, knowledgeable and serious. The atmosphere is friendly. The rates are more than fair.
It is well-cared for and has great equipment. I can't think of anything missing from a workout standpoint. I also love that it is not overly busy in the mornings. I don't have to wait to use any machines.

I like the family friendly atmosphere. I like the emphasis placed on being a place where anybody can work out and improve themselves. I like the atmosphere that is friendly, encouraging, doesn't allow bullying or intimidation. I like the variety of activities, personal training and nutrition support. I like the feeling that the Y is a place where I feel I belong.
This was the second year my son attended camp on the lake and he loved it! The counselors have all been amazing and they offer endless activities to keep them entertained all day

My daughter had an unbelievable time at the YMCA Camp on the Lake. The counselors are awesome and you can tell they really enjoy it. We will definitely come back!

There are multiple classes for seniors with instructors who are experienced with seniors. "Make sure you protect 'what hurts today.'"
Also, the EGYM machines are a wonderful addition. They help you have a better workout.
And the facility is rarely crowded when we want to use it.

I’ve been a member on/off since early 2010s. Minor league coach basket and soccer plus a referee. YMCA is like a home base when I visit family. .
Some employees there could have bit more welcoming attitudes. Maybe a smile here and there. Equipment in the back need to be cleaned from rust dust etc.

I have been going to the Frisco YMCA for a while now. It has many different classes and a large weight and machine area. I just recently signed up for some personal training lessons that are going very well. I recommend it for the price and variety.
