I am the guardian of two Boys that go to the Y. One of them is in the daycare program and the other one is in the after-school program and right now a junior camper with Camp Wiggi. I had this child tell me that he didn't want to go to camp all Summer, I'm not going to like it, is what he said ! His very first day was fantastic, he couldn't wait to go back the next day, and it's been like that all Summer so far. He's happy, I'm happy and the toddler is happy too, it's awesome, such a great feeling. I'll tell you; I love how engaged the teachers and counselors are with the students and how much they really care for our children. Everyone has been very nice and very helpful, I have not had one bad encounter with anybody at the Y. I believe that all of your directors, staff, and camp counselors have been very properly trained to deal with children, parents the community and I highly recommend the Y.
Great program. Caring Staff
The camp counselors at Camp Wiggi are very well trained. The camp is well run keeping the campers safe and busy. The counselors also show interest in the kids and the kids really respond to that. My son was in a more elite and expensive camp a couple of years ago and he hated it. The counselors just yelled at the kids and bossed them around. It was not nearly as well run and had a lot of lag time. My son loves the excursions and next year will join the Voyagers group. My compliments to the manager of the Camp Wiggi Program!
The Y was my kids' first experience with camp and we are very pleased with how it turned out! The operation ran like a machine - with camp counselors greeting us for drop off and pick up, keeping the lines moving, and always checking ID, which I truly appreciated. The camp counselors always looked SO cheery, even in 100 degree weather, and my kids loved them. I was really impressed with the structure and the level of happiness throughout the camp.

The Franklin Y is an inclusive place of comfort. It support every single one of its members to live up their best healthy life. You never feel out of place. As a mother of 3, I find myself many times obligated to rush out of the door looking lesser than my best self and never felt any unwelcoming glance. Healthy habits and well being above all. The facility is always clean. Great dedicated staff.
I only partake of the water programs, but find all the staff, not just the instructor and life guards to be friendly and helpful.
Staff are very welcoming and helpful! Lots of equipment and choices of classes. It would be cool if the outdoor pool had adult only hours a couple times a week :)
