I love being greeted personally as I arrive at the Y. It's a friendly atmosphere where I've met people and developed friendships quickly. I love watching the maintenance staff, they are meticulous! Everything is kept clean and repaired, in immaculate condition. Very impressive. Top quality equipment, replaced regularly, great class offerings, beautiful pool. It's a privilege to be a member at the Y!
Great group ex instructors!
Great facility and great staff. We love coming!
Wolverine YMCA has been a blessing to our family. It has helped to build our family strength and individual strengths. It gives my children a fun destination for sports and swimming, and it provides a safe space at Kid's Zone that they actually love to go to. The Kid's Zone allows for my children ages 3 and 7 to be with one another which comforts them and allows for my 7 year old to retreat to the Big Kids Area for some independence and personal space. As a single mother, it is a blessing that I can spend some independent time for a couple hours to work on myself and I know that my children are safe. My children's safety is priceless! God Bless this organization for all that they do for family's. It has been an awesome experience.
Friendly staff with decent number of well-maintained facilities, made new friends playing pickleball. Lindsey Maki, my personal trainer and also trainer at the RPM and Les Miles Core classes has been doing great work!!
Day Care for parents
Staff was nice, the lifeguard was encouraging, patient, and kind while my daughter took (and passed) her swim test.
The feeling of family and community. The opportunities to get fit and stay healthy through the variety of classes and programs offered. The professionalism and caring of staff. The friends I get to see everyday at the Y!
Everyone is so friendly, kind, & inclusive. The staff set the stage for the atmosphere of the WWW YMCA!

Monica and Angela are exceptional WERQ trainers. Their enthusiasm is contagious.
Great programs for kids
Very clean and sanitary.
This Y branch is the best example of a community of caring, sharing people. I love going there and do so 3-5 times a week.
Clean and well maintained facility. Staff helpful and friendly. Extended hours daily/appreciate some facilities open for a time on holidays
Love the community, instructors and clean equipment that is updated frequently. I wish the upstairs track was bigger and had more windows and also would like my favorite class Tabata to be brought back.
Friendly & Helpful getting the most benifit for its Membwes
The staff and instructors, the class options,, the hours, and the pool.
As I have written before, I like everything about WWW YMCA. The instructors are excellent, my friends are here, and the variety of classes and opportunities is right for me. I swim 2 hours per week, rpm class, body pump, core classes and more.
The staff are all friendly. A+ for everything!
Close to home. I have made a great group of friends since becoming a member. Plenty of equipment, and a friendly and helpful staff.
The staff is great at the kid zone. I also enjoy fitness instructors Julie, Sara and Lindsay. They all do a great job & are well prepared for the workout and have positive attitudes take I look forward to encountering.
The amenities that other fitness centers don't offer; to include running club, pool and organized sports.
The friendly environment, clean facility, great instructors, flexible hours
I like it. I like it more for my kids. It’s too expensive though for how much I use it. I’ll probably cancel soon unless my kids can use it more this summer. If there was a cheaper plan I would be more likely to stay longer. I work two jobs so don’t qualify for your lower income plan. So, I guess I’m penalized for working hard. My wife is a front line worker, are there any discounts because she is a hospital employee?
There is also too much pickle ball during peak hours when the youth could be using the basketball courts to play basketball. One court with 40 kids isn’t a good use of their time and your space. I understand it’s “open gym,” but that is a big turn off to me especially in the winter when youth basketball is at its peak.
Other than that, I love it! 😀
My daughter loves coming to swim lessons! She feels safe enough to try new things, and to ask how she can modify activities for her own level of comfort. My mama heart really appreciates that! She is the only girl in a group of 5, and the boys around her are VERY ready to splash and jump! She is not quite there yet, so I appreciate how the instructors have encouraged her to try new things, but also listen to her body because swimming can be dangerous. I really appreciate that opportunity for growth AND listening to that inner voice that tells her when she's maybe not quite ready.
Friendly staff, very community oriented. Clean updated equipment
Easy parking, less crowded
