I really like the Wolverine Worldwide Family YMCA.
The set up is easy to reach and access.
I would like it if there were more team members available to answer questions or explain how to use a specific machine.

Location, variety of options in equipment and classes plus the cleanliness, and cost.
The fantastic kid zone and its staff make it possible for me to have time for myself. I can work out knowing that all of my kids are safe and having a great time. We also love the layout and the equipment that works for every age and fitness level. The pool and the hot tub are always clean and a good temperature. The entire staff is just so fantastic. And all the members I have met through my time there have been so friendly as well. It's a great location with great people. I look forward to possibly having the kids zone open on Sundays so that will also be an option for my family.
Most important to me is that there is a family atmosphere present. The staff is genuine and present. The members as a group is a valuable WWW family, and it takes a village to successfully instill positive attributes into our children. I am grateful that we have a safe place to hang out in the mornings and evenings.
friendly people, clean environment, bit expensive
Both of our kids have taken many swim lessons over the last few years at the YMCA. All of the instructors have been fantastic, the class sizes are small, and they have been very well organized. The baby/toddler swim class is so cute and a great intro to swimming! My kids look forward to their swim classes each week.
They are finally adding more classes after covid.
my only experience with Wolverine is Massage therapy with Nancy Dykhuis and I have been very happy with her services. My regular Y is David D Hunting and I am always HIGHLY RECOMENDING that facility!
Friendly atmosphere. Appreciate the addition of group exercise classes, enjoy pickleball opportunities , appreciate new equipment. Instructors doing a great job.
Smaller feel than downtown. Makes me feel more comfortable. I like the track and the bikes.
Friendliness of staff and instructors
All the staff have been appropriately pleasant and helpful. The cost is a great factor and the staff helped me understand that I could actually afford to use the facilities with my family. We’ve used the place many times and have really enjoyed it. The pool, gym, and workout areas have been clean.
This facility sets the bar for how a Y should be. I regularly visit three different wise each week and Wolverine worldwide is by far my favorite. The culture, staff, equipment, and overall cleanliness of the facility set the bar for all locations within the GRYMCA.

I love being able to come in and workout in a dry and clean environment. They welcome me, they know my name. There is always a positive vib there. I can escape there on my lunch, mentally reset /reframe my mind, go back to work with less stress - better focus.
All the guests are treated fairly, everybody seems thought and considerate.
I love it that i can go as early as 5am, or as late as 5pm. When you just want to get your workout in before the day starts, or if they day was too much -i go for a unwind on the stairs or the weights, at my speed.
I like the weight rooms, and equipment. I like the pickle ball availability. Only drawback is no sauna or steam room!!!
Fine place
I have been missing the last half of 2023 with a broken back. I am back now and enjoying the pool and hot tub. I hope to do some other things before long at the Y. Thank you. Sharon Last name removed
Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is a very comfortable place to bring your family to workout.
We love the ymca. We enjoy bringing our kids here, and working out. It’s perfect for families.

We love the Wolverine Y. The kid zone is awesome. We use it all the time and would definitely love to see it expand with activities for ages up to 10 or so.

I just wish they had towels again. And I would love to have the climbing open even for just a few hours a month!
