What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

It's convenient, it's safe, it's clean and it's family-friendly. I often most enjoy this because I'm able to have the accommodation of my children being watch while enjoying my workout in peace which allows me to create a safe space for me to decompress mentally and physically.

It's a beautiful facility with plenty of room and plenty of workout stations.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

The facility is showing its age, from the parking lot to the locker rooms. It needs a bit of a face lift. It would also be nice to add door assists for the family room and the doors to the pool.

Excellent equipment
Helpful workers who is knowledgeable about rules and regulations
Nice staff
Friendly members
Lastly There is a large empty hole at the entrance
Iam disappointed that Noone has taken care of this ongoing problem.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

I like all the different swim instructors. Each one has a different style and different workouts. After taking all the swim classes in a week, I have had a well-rounded workout that includes all my muscles and joints; I have also worked on strength, balance, and range of motion. I look forward to waking up most mornings knowing I am headed to the Y.

What do you like about your David D. Hunting YMCA experience?

That it is inclusive of all races and that the building is one of the best to work out , the windows , the natural light is great, love the sauna, steam room . Pool etc, you never get bored in here , since it has so many activities you can do ! Over all it is a great place to be .

Most of my experience of the YMCA have exceeded my expectations! From childcare to personal training, The staff is kind and professional. The facilities are well-kept and having a membership here is one of the best things I’ve done since moving to Grand Rapids.

My kids had a great time! They came home each day wanting to get outside and practice playing basketball. It was surprising because they were already playing for four hours at the camp! This camp definitely lit a fire for basketball for them. Thanks so much!
