We recently moved to Somerset County and were looking for a gym with a pool. Somerset Hills YMCA is amazing! Modern, spacious facility with 3 pools! Everything we were looking for and more, all at an affordable price. Also, the staff have all been friendly and helpful. We are always welcomed when we enter, no matter who is at the front desk. The people in the gym range from young to old, male and female, all with their own fitness goals. I am a senior and haven't felt the least bit intimidated or out of place. A great experience.

I love so many things about the Y. The atmosphere-variety of offerings-demographics of members, cleanliness, etc. all add to a lovely experience when I walk in the door. I love how Lisa is always thinking of new classes and times, allowing members to try sports they might not have thought of (ie stretch, Tai Chi, etc). I really enjoy seeing kids, seniors and young adults all working out together. I joined the Y in 1972, moved away for a few years and rejoined in the 90’s. I’ve loved seeing it grow into a much larger facility but still maintain its small neighborhood feeling. Thank you all who work at the Y.
