I’ve used the pool for lap swimming several times and really like it . The lifeguards and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I’ve also attended a couple of classes which were very good. My husband uses the equipment and is happy with his daily visits. Both of us love using the private parking lot.
Most things.
Beautiful facility, lots of light and room to breathe. Getting used to men screaming during basketball but it still sends me into a minor panic.
The number of bikes & treadmills, as well as the wt machines . I prefer them over the brand at North Y . I do prefer pool & hot tub at the North Kansas City YMCA
Excellent facility. Has classes and equipment that the other YMCAs do not. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I love everything about this location.
Facilities are clean. Plenty of space and machines for everyone. The people and employees are nice and considerate.
I love the location; however two issues seriously need to be addressed: the parking lot and the space in the mens locker room.
I wish it was easier to enter those parking gates and having to validate that slip of paper.
Also, there isn't much space to change in the mens locker room and the floor is always wet.
The best staff and facilities!! Super clean and well kept!! If they had swim lessons it would be my #1 spot.
The building is amazing! I love the separate floors! The equipment is always in great shape and rarely too long of a wait time for things like the squat rack.

Very nice facility. It is clean. 4 floors of everything that you need for your workouts.

The downtown YMCA is terrific. Great facility with an abundance of things to do and equipment to use.
The workout class is always amazing people treat me and my family and friends amazingly.
All interactions with staff have been positive. Great place that welcomes everyone!

The clases and location
I like the downtown facility. It is clean and set up well. The people working there are nice and welcoming. I have only used the walking track so far and I really like that set up.
The equipment is new and clean. Most machines are working order, though some have been down lately. The staff is friendly and it is easy to get in and out for your workout.
The front desk folks are very friendly and it's a welcoming place. I recommend the Y to anyone who lives or works downtown. I do notice that some of the benches and equipment are starting to split, so there is some general maintenance that seems to be deferred, but overall it's a great Y. I love my membership.
Like the pilates class with Abigail, cleanliness, not crowded, eqt works and steam room.
