Everyone is always so nice. The atmosphere is always very pleasant. The facilities are always very clean and well kept. You have an array of things that you can do.
I like that the facilities are generally quite clean and the staff is friendly, and being adjacent to a parking garage is great.
I left the Y to join a private gym. Mistake. First, I notice a huge difference with the Y now compared to less than a year ago even -- better equipment, staff seem more personable and "on it." Second, I didn't appreciate how much the Y felt like family, the energy that kids and family bring to the facility. Loving it!

For many years it was a place that provided safe, healthy and communal well being options as well as opportunities for learning and engaging with the community. Prior to COVID, the building, the brick and mortar oozed a high energy unmatched by any local gym in the area. It was easy to find activities, classes and groups to join. Friendships developed organically and as in my case, my group of gym rat friends has stood the test of time. We were all strangers to each other when we met more than 10 years ago. We have participated in the Lose to Win Challenges, Strong Warrior, Glow in the Dark Zumba Party, Fundraising Campaigns, the Annual Walk/Run and many more events over the years. We celebrate our friendship several times a year in various ways as well as our annual October hiking weekend in the Berkshires. I even celebrated my 60th birthday with a 2 hour Zumba party at the YMCA. I enjoy having flexible options for exercising, especially now after 3 foot and hip surgeries in the last 4 years. The introduction of some earlier class times is working out much better for me these days because I can go straight from work and participate in a class at 5pm, 6pm or 6:30pm class. I'd like to see more options for stretching. There is one stretch class I believe on Friday evening but in my opinion it needs some re-tooling or bumped up a notch if you will. Affordable assisted stretch is an option I think people could benefit from. I'd like to work out with a personal trainer once a week, but cannot afford the fee. I could go on and on and on. It offer the swimming class that my son needs. The staffs treats everyone equally. They are always attentive, kind and friendly. They make you feel welcome in each visit.

I love coming to the various classes. However, the parking adds up. Maybe the Y could partner with the town and get a discount code for us to use

The staff are welcoming and helpful. I feel safe and supported overall. The physical layout is nice. Clean and comfortable.
In the small pool, noodles for aqua classes are old and corroded.
The replacements ( black, purchased within the last year -maybe two) hold no shape, are sticky - tacky from being cheap and lengthy exposure to water, and are breaking apart possibly causing filter damage.
Please replace with quality noodles.

The swimming senior aquatic class.6:15 am morning . I’m able to take my class and have the rest of the day to myself.

I love the various amenities and services membership at the Park Street YMCA affords. Friendly staff, Gym, Sauna, Steam Room, Exercise Groups, etc. What more can one ask for? Member for life health permitting.

I always have a great workout at the Y. I love all of my options from swimming to classes to exercise machines. The best part about being a member of the Y is that if I can't get to the gym for a month or 2 or 3, I know my money is going to a wonderful organization that does so much for the community!

I'm enjoying my very first time membership at the Park Street Y. The staff has been very friendly and most helpful as I try to famliarize myself with all of the wonderful activities the Y offers especially for seniors. The Y staff exemplifies the cultural diversity of the community it serves. I like the Montclair Y App.It is very easy to navigate and provides current updates of Y activities, background about the staff members experience and expertise in the classes that they conduct. The Y facility is well kept and maintained with the health and safety for all being a primary concern.

The Y offers a great feeling of community. The offering of exercise classes is attractive, and the extent of workout areas and equipment is very good, especially since additions in the recent months/year.
