Our daughter is in the 4-6 Gymnastics class and the teachers are amazing! First name removed is a bit shy but the staff makes her feel extremely comfortable and at ease. She even practices the things she learns at home so she’s better for next class 10/10 recommend.
I love the feeling of community at the Y. Classes are great with knowledgeable instructors who can modify all exercises for varying abilities and health issues. I swim and am grateful that the schedule is great for both pools. I prefer the warm pool and it's not common for a gym to have two wonderful pools that can accommodate different sensitivities. There is plenty of equipment and the basic amenities are satisfactory.
Good teachers, they are kind and they explained everything with patience.
I like my instructors, Janet and Tommy they are both incredible instructors. I am going to continue taking classes with both of them.

I love the class; great equipment and setup. Circle time is good with the singing. We are recommending adding 1 skill per class to learn. (for example, learning to jump).

This is my first time doing swim at the Park street location.
I must say that I feel the classes are very well structured and the instructors follow through to make sure each child is learning.
I must also say that instructor Rachel is great! My son really got a chance to learn and because of this excelled in these sessions.
I think the Geyer Branch could use some of this structure, but from now on, I will do swim at the Park street location.

I love the intergenerational community feeling of the Montclair Y and the ease of access to workout machines and equipment.
I love both pools and I often can get a lane to myself.
Our instructor Claire is outstanding with toddlers that have a fear of the water. She is a priceless asset to the program.
I find it to be a great experience for a beginner swimmer. My son learned a lot of basic swimming skills and has gained confidence in the water. He made some new friends in the process. The pool is not too deep, and there is a gallery where I can observe him in the pool. This gives me peace of mind since I can see that he is doing ok and is safe. I plan on signing him up for more swimming lessons this Spring.

Its been a lovely term with Geyer swim. The kids are progressing in confidence and ability. Very thankful to lovely instructors for stage 2&3! Clair is fantastic in her new role as well! She was fantastic in her former roles too!

Claire is absolutely wonderful. She gives an amazing, age appropriate lesson and is sensitive to the child's comfort level. The facilities are clean and well maintained. We had a wonderful experience for our daughter's first swim lesson.
The pool and pool area is always v clean. The reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Sometimes the pool temperature can be a bit on the low side (the small pool).
The breastfeeding room is fantastic….but it doesn’t always feel private with the curtain partition which leaves gaps at the side by the mirror.
