The Hal Welsh East Area Family YMCA is a welcoming environment to be in. Everyone is so nice. The Art department is fabulous. The teachers are talented and fun.

The day that I attended, there were activities underway for members with a very wide range of ages, abilities and interests. The facility was fully utilized.

There is a wonderful assortment of activities for everyone in addition to physical pursuits, including the Downtown Writers Center, art classes, field trips, walking club, and game clubs. I have met a wonderful variety of people and I've made a lot of friends.
I love the movement classes like Terri’s and Genoa’s active adult fitness. My other favorites are swimming, Pickle Ball and friendly people that I meet. The staff is always helpful, friendly and welcoming. This is a clean, welcoming, safe environment to keep active year round. Amazing!!!
I like the facilities, the helpful people & the variety of activities available. We have made new friends there, and like the fact that it’s a family-friendly place where all ages are welcome.

It’s clean and safe, staff is friendly. I miss the reusable cardio/weight machine towels though, I prefer them to the paper towels.

They have so many options for exercise
I like the diversity of classes offered and also the hours are good for most anyone. The equipment is kept clean and facilities are kept clean. The people working there are always helpful and well informed.
I would recommend it for any age person as it serves everyone so well.
