Olivia does a phenomenal job with the Aqua program. John is a very dedicated professional in teaching adult swim lessons, I have made progress with having the swim lessons. Dawn is an amazing instructor with her classes in addition to Sandyjo, Denise and Jennifer. Body Combat is an amazing class. Karen does a superb job with her classes upstairs. I am always greeted when I enter and spoken to when I leave the way by the front desk staff. The Egym is an excellent addition to the Y. I feel very blessed to have a great place to be able to become the best person I can be. My orthopedic surgeon suggested that I continue with what I have been doing, modifying if I need to which I do. As a senior member the coffee in the lobby is nice for socializing. The Active Older Adult Walking Club is nicely organized and great for an experience of being outside with other members. The Senior Fair was very informative as well as the classes offered upstairs in addition to Walk with the Doc. I also participate in the Writing Center and had a piece published in “28 Voices” the first publication of Writing Center participants work. Auroa is a amazing lifeguard and goes above and beyond. All the lifeguards are great!
I have enjoyed trying the yoga class on Thursday evening. And Stephanie is the best lifeguard ever; so reliable and professional!

I enjoy the new egym. I wish there was a way to take a ticket with a number on it and when youre number comes up, you go directly to the machines. This would eliminate standing in line waiting and you can work out instead on a different piece of equipment while waiting. Ive had to wait 20-25 minutes to do the circuit

The Northwest Y is a community where, whatever your interest, you can find a place. I am in the process of adjusting to retirement. The chair yoga classes have reintroduced me to better fitness. The attendees are full of life and welcoming. I am also enjoying the book club. Every week we have conversations that create links to the literature and each other. I feel at “home” at the Y.
Great facility and knowledgeable and friendly staff
I love going to the gym to workout, play soccer, play Basketball, I love walking around the track or even running. I don’t like taking a shower there, it’s kinda gross to me. I love going swimming they should have longer times to open swim

Love it. My only problem is that people are very open about having their phones out and taking pictures in the pool room and sauna. It's usually someone taking a selfie or of their kiddo, which is okay to me, but then there's the risk of others in the background or people with bad intention. This would be good to fix this problem! :)

I love the lazy river and the play area for kids. The hot tub pool is amazing.
People are very friendly. Not only staff but also the patrons. It's a great place to exercise and chat with people if you like or keep to yourself as you workout if that's your preference.
Northwest Family YMCA is extremely clean, staff is always friendly, and the aquatics is superior!
